Friday night, I was decked out for a spring formal! My outfit consisted of leather, satin, and plenty of sass.
- Urban Outfitters Wheat Chain Wrap Choker Necklace
- Trouve Drape Front Leather Jacket
- Urban Outfitters Kimchi Blue Tie-Shoulder Silky Mini Dress
- Michael Kors Cindy Large Dome Crossbody
- Sam Edelman Susie Ankle Strap Sandal
I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and look of this dress. On the hanger, it looked bland, but on, it was very flattering and fit perfectly. Having to adjust the shoulder tie got annoying, but it made for easy adjustments if needed. Just be careful pulling it too much or the length will be way too short. Paired with the leather jacket and heels, the look was perfect for the weather (rainy). This would be great for a night out with friends or a date!
I love getting dressed up! Dinners are so fun for me because I really enjoy the time I get to just sit down, do my hair and makeup, and feel glamorous! Friday was one of those nights, and I knew it was a must for the blog; however, I decided to photograph it in the dark…
I decided to wear a black and white tweed mini-skirt with faux leather trim. I paired a cream crop top to complete the look, revealing a little skin. I accessorized a lot with my faux Cartier silver and gold bangles, my gold fossil watch, and a black studded wrap bracelet. My shoes (not shown) are beige, pizza toe flats with small studs on the front.

I love this look! I was inspired by the beautiful Carli Bybel! She wore an ensemble very similar that was classic black and white, but added a modern twist with a crop top! Perfect for dinner or a night out on the town! Just don’t show too much skin!

P.S. It’s my birthday week!! WOO August 9! Shoutout to all my fellow Leos!!
Hi all! Hope your summer days have been fabulous! With these overcast days, I have been looking for outfits and styles that are chill and cute! So, what did I choose?
Blouse: Marshall’s Shorts: Forever 21 Hat: Anthropology (All outfit links are in previous posts!)
I chose a white “hippie” blouse with cut-out shoulders and little detailing along the arms and torso. I paired it with a pair of light-wash boyfriend shorts. They were very comfy and a perfect fit even with its baggy flair. My bracelets are from Alex and Ani, and I wore a straw wide brim hat just for fun!
I’m so in love with these flowy blouses, especially because they can be worn in any season! They are very versatile and work in any weather. Pair it with shorts or jeans and you can go anywhere!
Enjoy your summer no matter what the weather may be and dress however you feel!

Hi all! Sorry of the very long delay! Vacation has been very busy, but I am back! I have one very exciting announcement before I get into a wonderful blog post! I WILL BE ATTENDING BEAUTYCON 2014 IN NYC! I am so excited! I cannot wait to see all my fave youtube beauty gurus and more! I’ll keep you up to date on that!
This week has been very busy, but today was gorgeous (besides the wind), so I knew a cute outfit was a must! I do have to admit my outfit was partly inspired by the beautiful Nicole Guerriero! If you do not know who she is, I recommend looking her up on youtube, instagram, Facebook etc! She is fabulous and one of my idols!
To fit the windy, but sunny weather I decided to pull out my cream jeans with zip up ankles! These are my favorite white pants to date because they virtually go with everything! I paired the jeans with a sheer floral blouse! The colors were subtle, and the style was perfect for tucking in to my skinnys. To finish off the look, I wore some tan flats, added a pop with my Michael Kors cross body bag, and curled my hair to add much needed volume! Of course, don’t forget the makeup! I did a matte nude eye with winged liner, plenty of mascara, and a nude gloss (Nyx butter gloss in Creme Brulée!)
This outfit was perfect for today, but also any other day! What I love about these pants is how versatile they are! They can be worn with a sweater or easy tank or be transformed into a work look with a blazer, blouse, and/or heels!
Definitely work the white jeans this spring and summer! They are an easy way to change up your closet and get plenty of outfits in! Thanks again for being patient! More will be up soon! Also keep up to date with me on instagram @courtneyk1! Until next time, loves!
