As 2017 comes to a close, I can’t even begin to think about how blessed I was this year and what 2018 will hold. With that in mind, I am extremely excited to ring the new year in! Especially in style. Everyone always looks for the perfect sequin dress, which I do indeed love, but I also think there are other ways to dress up in style, without all the sparkle.
Treasure and Bond X Something Navy Satin Tunic
Leith Faux Leather Skirt
Raye Aria Booty
Asos Prosecco Pointed High Heels
Lioness Chancellor Lace Top
AG Farrah Skinny Ankle Denim
Bardot Alex Wrap Dress
House of Harlow 1960 X Revolve Kristian Dress
Faux Fur Jacket
Rhinestone Star Tassel Drop Earrings
Nars Lipstick in Jungle Red
My favorite color lately has been red. The pop adds a beautiful contrast to neutral tones. Adding it to a simple black leather skirt in the form of a satin blouse is not only sophisticated, but also spicy. I’ll be sporting a pair of black denim with a long sleeve blouse, similar to the one above. Pair it with a set of tassel earrings and a cute booty, and you’ll feel comfortable, but formal. For the more traditional mini dress, I am in love with the velvet wrap dress from Revolve. It’s sexy, yet adds that perfect warm feel. To make the outfit pop even more, add a faux fur vest or jacket to cozy up and feel glamorous.
New Years Eve is all about feeling glam and celebrating a new year! Enjoy your night, and I’ll see you in 2018!
While browsing in Sephora the other day, a beautiful, shimmering product caught my eye. Everyone that knows me knows that I love anything that sparkles or shimmers! Stila just launched their new summer colors for their Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eye Shadow! At first, I thought it was just a sparkle that is applied over your desired shadow, but after I read the instructions, I realized it came with a kit that contains an eye primer and mixing tray. I thought I’d give my lovely viewers a first impression on the product and show the process of applying it as well!
* Color I am wearing is Metallic Dusty Rose
I actually really like this product! At first, I was hesitant because the kit and application seemed like a difficult and tedious process, but I was able to find a video by Sephora on Youtube promoting the product and showing methods of application! There are two ways of applying: one mixing in the tray and the other applying the primer to the lid and then applying the shadow separately. They do sell a brush intended to make application easier, but I found using my index finger was super easy and fool proof.
This is a product that you may have to play around with, depending on the look that you want. I love the fact that the product has a buildable coverage, meaning you control how much you want to sparkle with the amount of shadow you apply. (I applied a very subtle amount to the eye on my first try!) This is great alone, but I would love to use it just on the lid with a smoky look! It is a little tricky when it comes to removing because of the loose sparkles, but I recommend using a baby oil or gentle makeup remover on the eye.
I will definitely be using this product more and give it 5 STARS! It’s definitely a fun item to use, and unlike any other shimmer pigments!
It truly brings out the sparkle in your eye!

It has been long overdue, but with everything coming to an end, I finally found time to post my last and final prom look of the year! My last prom ever was an absolute blast, and I felt like a complete glamour girl in all red with a pop of rouge on the lips! Below are some fabulous pictures credit to my lovely sister Ashley!
My dress was by Jovani, jewelry was purchased at Icing, and shoes are from DSW! Hair and makeup was inspired by the beautiful Carli Bybel and is a very old Hollywood glam look. It was my last prom and knew I had to go all out for it! Feeling beautiful and glamorous on such a special night is something every girl deserves!
More posts will be up this week! I promise!
